Veteran Employment Assistance

In the Town of Bennett, we stand united in gratitude, honoring the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of our veterans. Their service has shaped our nation and community, safeguarding the freedoms we cherish today. We recognize not only their courage and commitment but also the invaluable skills and experience they bring to the workforce—contributions that strengthen our businesses, economy, and future.

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) is dedicated to supporting veterans as they transition to civilian careers. Through the Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) program, veterans, eligible spouses, and transitioning service members receive specialized career assistance, job training, and priority access to employment opportunities. CDLE’s Workforce Centers across the state provide Veterans Employment Representatives who offer personalized career coaching, resume assistance, interview preparation, and job placement support.

Additionally, CDLE partners with employers to connect veterans with meaningful career opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Veterans and eligible spouses receive priority of service, ensuring they have first access to employment, training, and job placement programs.
