Utility Billing

The Town of Bennett is responsible for providing and billing water and wastewater services for residents and businesses within Town Limits. We ask that you fill out and sign a Utility Service Application and return it to Town Hall.

Our billing cycle runs from the 15th to the 15th of each month, with billing processed on the 1st. Payments are due on the 26th of each month. A late fee of 5% is charged for unpaid balances.

If you have sewer service with the Town of Bennett, your rate is based on your average winter monthly consumption (AWMC) and is adjusted yearly. As a new resident your current sewer rate is at the average rate for all sewer customers in the Town of Bennett.

To pay your water bill you can mail your payments to Town Hall, pay them in person, pay online, drop your payment in the after-hours drop box located in front of Town Hall.

As always, if you receive suspicious phone calls or emails, from someone claiming to be a representative of the Town of Bennett, requesting payment, please call us at 303-644-3249.

Town of Bennett Water Restrictions

The Town of Bennett Board of Trustees approved new watering restrictions on June 22, 2021. These watering restrictions are effective immediately.

Watering is not allowed between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Hand watering will be permitted during these hours.

The Board of Trustees voted to approve these watering restrictions in order to manage summertime water usage and protect the Town’s available and future water supply.

Residents who lay new seed or sod may apply for a special permit with the Town Clerk for exemption from these watering restrictions.

Any person who is found to have violated these limitations may be subject to a fine.
