Planning a home improvement project? The Town of Bennett’s Building Department is here to help you navigate the permitting process with confidence. Whether you're tackling a remodel, installing a fence, finishing a basement, or making safety upgrades, many projects require a homeowner permit to ensure they meet local building codes and safety standards.
Our team is committed to supporting residents through every step, from determining whether a permit is needed to completing inspections once the work is done. Obtaining the proper permits helps protect your investment, ensures quality workmanship, and keeps our community safe.
Not sure if your project requires a permit? Explore our guidelines below or contact our office for assistance. We’re here to make your project smooth, safe, and compliant.
